Baby Hop from the CD Diaper Gym

Snuggle up together, babies in your lap.
Snuggle up together. Clap, Clap, Clap!
Snuggle up together, don't you nap.
Snuggle up together. Tap, Tap, Tap!
You're working out together, baby don't stop!
You're working out together. Hop, Hop, Hop!
(repeat first two verses)
Now our song is over, get ready to stop.
Now our song is over, so Hop, Hop, Hop!

Springtime on the Farm from the CD Animal Songs by Geof Johnson
(I used stuffed animals as visuals for this)

Springtime on the farm,
All the baby animals in the barn.
Hear the baby chicks go
cheep, cheep, cheep.

Repeat while adding:
cow – moooo
duck – quack, quack, quack
sheep – baaa
pig – oink, oink, oink
horse – neigh!

I am a rocket crouched on the ground,
(put arms over baby’s head for rocket’s nose)
Waiting quietly  Without a sound (put finger to lips)
Light this fuse on my little toe, (wiggle baby’s toe)
Ready for take-off? Here we go! (Count down with fingers against the floor)
5...4...3...2...1... Whoooooooosh!

(let baby jump, or lift baby into air)

Dinosaur, Dinosaurtune: Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear

Dinosaur, Dinosaur, turn around,
Dinosaur, Dinosaur, touch the ground,
Dinosaur, Dinosaur, roar out loud,
Dinosaur, Dinosaur, touch a cloud,
Dinosaur, Dinosaur, win a race,
Dinosaur, Dinosaur, jump in place,
Dinosaur, Dinosaur, stop and pause,
Dinosaur, Dinosaur, touch your claws,
Dinosaur, Dinosaur, sit right down,
Dinosaur, Dinosaur, make no sound.

The Way We Ride

This is the way the camel goes,
Humpity-hump, humpity-hump.
Humpity-hump, humpity-hump.
(tip baby side to side on knees)
This is the way the donky goes,
Hee-haw, hee-haw. Hee-haw, hee-haw.
(raise baby up and down on knees)
This is the way the horsy goes.
A-gallop, a-gallop, a-gallop,
a-gallop, a-gallop, a-gallop neeeeigh!
(quickly bounce baby, then rear back)

Can We Find?
tune: Muffin Man
(I have flannel board circles in different colors with animals on the other sides. We do five each session.)

Can we find an orange cat,
An orange cat, an orange cat?
Can we find an orange cat?
We want to say hello.

Continue with other animals:

Five Little Ducks  from the CD Rise and Shine by Raffi

Five little ducks went out one day,
Over the hills and far away.
When the mother duck said
Quack, quack, quack, quack!
Four little ducks came back!

Four little ducks...
Three little ducks...
Two little ducks...
One little duck...

Sad mother duck went out one day,
Over the hills and far away.
Mother duck said,
“Quack, quack, quack, quack!”
And five little ducks came hurrying back!
